VINS

On the way home, we stopped by the Vermont Institute of Natural Science Nature Center in Quechee, VT. They take in and rehabilitate injured wild birds with the goal of releasing them back in the wild. The Nature Center houses the birds that cannot be released. It was a great visit. The educational presentation with the birds was awesome. It was amazing to be so close to such beautiful creatures, and we got some really neat pictures of a few of the raptors we saw.

ATC is a partner with VINS for their Mountain Bird Watch. Check them out at http://www.vinsweb.org/raptor-center/index.html or http://www.vinsweb.org/cbd/mtn_birdwatch.html for info on their Mountain Bird Watch program.
