Sherpa Train

On Labor Day, we packed in supplies, tools, paint, gas, the clearing saw - yay!, etc. Emily Meachem, the AMC Mahoosuc Rover, Sally, Tom Wheeler (the Dartmouth Outing Club Monitor Coordinator, aka New Hampshire Hill Walker), thru-hikers Ben & Lauren (aka Stitch & Figgy), and Tristan, an AT hiker (aka Clearwater), and Ellen (not pictured) were the Sherpa Train. We met at a playground in the morning, then carpooled to do the Sherpa Train.

Everyone was pretty well weighed down. Our thanks to Dick Potteiger for making the freighter packs we used! They made carrying our stuff much easier.

The Sherpa Train. Ellen with the clearing saw in the Granite Gear pack went last.

Sally did a short boundary lesson after the Sherpa Train.

Sally teaching Lauren how to sight the boundary line using the compass.
